dirty things

works in progress late one night...
(also posted on my last entry over at my old art blog)

and in an effort to post more of my dirty (=unpolished), in-progress stuff,
here are some sketches from weeks ago :

hopefully i'll be keeping up with sketches/drawings for fun.
one of my main goals this year is to censor less, free & loosen up ideas,
and not be afraid to try and go for it.
hopefully be brave enough to share them, too.

  6. Happy New Years! Great sketches! I am curious about your use of the words censor and dirty. I ask this because I have your skins on my different laptops and as wallpapers on my cell phone. While on airplanes, when using my one of my laptops, I have gotten nasty comments about the "smut" I am displaying in public. I personally have always told the people it is their minds that are smut and not your artwork. Now I see you using these words and I am curious if you see your art in this vain. I am not accepting what these others are saying and I will continue to display your works proudly. As soon as your shop is set up I will purchase a set of prints and have them framed. I am a big fan who is just curious.

  8. thank you so much, everyone!!

ben kelba : oh no, i didn't mean dirty as in "smut" like ways. i meant dirty as in unrefined, unpolished, pre-filtering and editing and cleaning up, in a real process of art kind of way...

it's a;ways intriguing to hear what people see in artworks, they see what they want to see.
that's kind of fun though. :)
    thank you again!!
