i've been a little hesitant to use this moleskine somehow,
and left it hanging there up until that last page this january.

after i finished my leuchtturm sketchbook last week,
and while using a new landscape format sketchbook (coming soon)
i picked it up again - here are some pages from this past week :

You're saying sorry for posting so many sketchbook pages? Don't be!!

I love when you do a huge sketchbook post; you get to see all your ideas and experiments which lead to your finished pieces. These pages are just as important and as good as any of the bigger pieces we get to see. It’s all relevant in the process.

  3. don't apologize! these are great. i love seeing into other artist's sketchbooks, as it's both inspiring and telling, sometimes more than finished, polished works.

    keep 'em coming!

  4. Stella, I love that you share your sketchbook pages!
It's great to see some of the workings of your process + inspiration. Your piece at the London Miles gallery is awesome. I went last night, there was a tasty buzz. It was fab to finally see your work in person.

These are amazing! I especially love that second one. It reminds me of Yoshitaka Amano's work for some reason.

  7. These are soooo good, Stella!
Oh, I almost forgot: in the May 2010 issue of Tatler Hong Kong there is this shooting by Baldovino Barani and when I saw it I was "OMG! this girl looks like Stella drew her".
    Look at her features:
